Your tuition is comprehensive. It includes your round-trip international airfare, accommodations and meals at the Vision International Learning Center dormitories, orientation before and during your program, and all planned activities and excursions.
You will need to pay for your visa and passport fees, plus spending money during the program. Due to the favorable exchange rate, $200 – $300 should be sufficient for shopping during your trip. For those staying longer than two weeks, we recommend $300 – $500 to enjoy additional activities and excursions. 
You will also have to provide for your health and travel insurance. Consult with your current insurance provider and see if you can include a travel insurance. 
Impact/Bridge India dates and prices vary per program due to change in airfare, please inquire with the International program organizer for the latest updates. 
Deposit: $300 non refundable 
70% is refundable if you have to cancel 40 days before the trip.
25% is refundable if you cancel 14 days before the trip.
No refunds if you cancel the day of trip/no-show at the airport.

The Puranik Foundation provides need-based scholarships. Students must submit a financial aid form along with their parent’s income tax filings from the past year along with their program application. 

Scholarships only cover your housing accommodations or your travel expenditure. You will still have to save your own spending money.


We plan to host an annual Gala, where past students showcase their time at our foundation and activities they participated in during their time in India. We will invite members of the Houston community to attend and donate to the future students may be able to receive more scholarships for the following year. 

India uses a different type of outlet; you will require an adapter plug designed explicitly for Indian sockets. India uses 230 Volts, 50 Hz alternating current as the power source. Plugs and sockets have either grounded/earthed 3 Pin connections (Type D) or ungrounded two pin connections (Type C).
  India’s summer begins in March and gets hot from April-May. 
  The rainy season begins in June, with drizzles and light showers. Rain clouds pick up pace around July for pouring rain and last through mid-September. There is a return of October heat, and slight rains continue to fall periodically. 
  India’s dry season begins though November and lasts till March. Most of the country does not receive snowfall, except in the north. Temperatures are quite pleasant and dry during the day and drop to cool weather in the evenings.

  India’s GMT zone is +5:30; India does not utilize daylight savings time. 
  India is 10hrs 30min ahead of US Central time (When it is 11 pm on Friday night in the US; it is 9:30 am on Saturday morning in India)
  We have gender segregated dormitories and bathrooms all around campus. Each person is given a private mattress bed with a mosquito net, a couple of blankets, and a pillow. 
  For individual accommodations, you will have to pay an additional cost where you can get a single room or share a three bedroom cottage. 
  We can accommodate your unique needs as necessary; please contact your trip organizer to make sure they are aware of your necessities. 

Program directors and staff are always available to help you; all you need is to ask. Participants are to be well behaved, courteous and respectful. Any misconduct and indecent behavior or the use of illegal substances will result in immediate deportation to your home country.
